Some foods make us sweat harder, and, as a result, smell worse.
Food and cigarettes affect body smell, researchers believe. Thus, garlic, onions, curry, and other spicy foods increase the concentration of sulfur in the body, which leads to its release with sweat and breathing. Dark meat also makes us sweat harder – the body spends much energy to digest it. Speaking of digestion: we are not able to process at least 10% of the alcohol, chocolate, soda, tea and coffee consumed, and this adds an unpleasant odor.
Another “flavored” product is tobacco: smokers’ bodies often acquire a specific smell provoked the substances contained in tobacco, which integrate in the metabolic system.
