The Kyoto School of Public Health (Japan) argues that depression develops due to long dramatic experiences and excessive stress of the brain. Most often these problems occur in the people, who have an extremely responsible attitude to their work. As a result, a person suffers from chronic fatigue, headaches and sleep problems.
The need to “be on the level” at work leads to the fact that the production of endorphins (pleasure hormones) is inhibited, and people gradually lose the ability to enjoy life.
However, one can escape from the reactive depression without drugs. To do this, we must admit that career is not the only important thing in life. At the end of the day, one must completely switch to thinking about the family and rest. It is recommended to sleep at least 6 hours a day, and the time spent at the computer should be reduced in favor of walking and playing sports.
