If you want to get the maximum amount of vitamins at any time of the year – drink freshly squeezed juices. They are much healthier than the ones from the shop. After all, any product that is contained in the package undergoes thermal treatment, which reduces the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables, destroys the enzymes, and ‘washes out’ vitamins and minerals.

Natural juice retains all the beneficial properties of fruit. There are a few rules for preparing fresh juices that will allow getting the maximum benefit from them.

  • Juice should be prepared immediately before use, otherwise it will oxidize.
  • Juice should be taken in a relaxed atmosphere, in a good mood.
  • One must drink juice slowly, it is better to sip it 20-30 minutes before eating.
  • Juice is good in moderation, as the digestion of this product requires certain efforts on the part of our stomach.
  • Salt and sugar should not be added to juice.

Some people have no appetite in the morning. Still, one should not go to work without having breakfast. Try and replace a hearty breakfast with a couple glasses of juice. Natural juices are much easier to digest than fruit and vegetables. However, juices contain as many vitamins, organic acids, and trace elements as fruit. Therefore, it is so useful to start the morning with juices. They help to wake up and get more energy.

Carrot juice is very useful to improve the tone – it improves the mood, appetite and digestion; it is rich in carotene, calcium, phosphorus and iron.

Orange juice is no less useful, especially in the fall. High content of vitamin C is aimed at preventing colds. This is one of the most low-calorie juices. Smokers should rather start the day with apple juice; it is useful for the lungs and bronchi. In addition, it contains pectin that acts as an absorbent, cleansing the body of toxins.

Pear juice is bactericidal, and its fiber and pectin improve digestion.

To increase hemoglobin in the blood, it is useful to drink pomegranate and cherry juice – they have a lot of folic acid and iron; in addition, these juices strengthen the walls of blood vessels.

Do not forget that it is not recommended to drink sour juices on an empty stomach, especially if you have a sensitive stomach or gastro-intestinal tract.
