6 Foods You Should Never Eat Together

Daily consumption of fruits and vegetables is very important for our overall health. Nevertheless, there are some things that we should not experiment with, for example, mixing two fruits or vegetables. Mixing two types of fruits and vegetables may prove harmful or even lead to death.

Below is a list of products that should never be mixed:

Carrots and oranges

Carrots and orange juice is a fairly popular combination, but it can lead to heartburn, as well as an excess of esophageal reflux of bile. In some cases, it can cause kidney damage.

Milk and pineapple

Pineapple is rich in bromelain, so it should never be mixed with milk. This combination can cause headache, abdominal pain, nausea, infections, diarrhea and other problems, which may be very dangerous.

Lemon and papaya

Consumption of this combination of fruits can lead to anemia, as well as to problems with hemoglobin levels.

Bananas and guavas

Mixing and consuming guavas and bananas can cause acidosis and the formation of gases, leading to nausea and headaches.

Milk and orange

Never add orange juice to oatmeal! This combination makes the stomach unable to process starch from cereals, and its combination with milk will lead to health problems.

Fruits and vegetables

Never eat fruits and vegetables together. Fruits are rich in sugar, and they are difficult to digest, which is why they stay in the stomach for a longer period of time. When fermentation begins, it releases toxins and causes headaches, diarrhea, infections and stomach ache.

You can only mix fruits with other fruits. Below you will find some tips:

  • Sweet – do not hesitate to mix sweet fruits that do not contain acids, such as bananas, apples, plums, melon and watermelon.
  • Sour – these fruits are rich in citric acid, and they can be boldly combined together. For example, lemon, orange, blueberry, grapes, kiwi and grapefruit.
  • Semi-acid – these fruits are low in acid. You can safely mix these fruits. For example, raspberries, mangoes, apples and strawberries.
  • Neutral – fruits that contain more vitamins, oils, salt and protein are avocados, almonds, peanuts, walnuts and coconut.
